AFRICAN BLACK SOAP for Dry Skin,
Acne, Eczema, Dry Hair & Scalp
Handmade Naturals liquid African Black Soap
is made with authentic fairly traded African Black
Soap (saponified virgin shea butter & palm
oil) and a blend of pure rose and chamomile flower
waters. Although called 'Black Soap' , real african
black soap is dark brown in colour and the liquid
version looks like melted chocolate!
African Black soap is produced in Togo, West
Africa, by a local cooperative owned by Agbanga
Karite. The soap is made in small batches by hand
using age-old traditional techniques rom pure
virgin oils and following fair trade and organic
guidelines. The ingredients of the African black
soap are virgin palm kernel oil, virgin unrefined
shea butter and potash produced from the ashes
of plantain leaves and bark from a local tree,
called Agow. The high percentage of shea butter
(48%) is one of the unique features of the Togolese
black soap. African black soap is also a soft
milled soap and has a very high natural glycerin
content (usually removed from commercially produced
soaps), which gives the soap its exceptional moisturising
qualities.
As recommended by worldwide users and its producer,
