Your unscented hand & body lotion, along with your African black soap shower gel, has completely changed my life. I worked out a short while back, with the help of your site, that I was allergic to the emollients prescribed by my doctor. I ordered your products and I've never looked back. Gone is the misery of constant, crawling itching all over my body and the nasty patches of eczema and dermatitis that I just couldn't shift. My skin feels and looks completely different, taken on a texture I'd forgotten it ever had. Thank you so very much for your expertise. But the reason I'm mailing is to beg and plead with you to do the unscented hand and body lotion in a bigger size. My black soap lasts for ages, but I get through the lotion so quickly. I have just about come to the end of the products from my first order and I'm back for more, they are fantastic! I have an under active thyroid and the skin on my face has aged a lot. It's dry, dull and lifeless-or I should say it was! Since using your products my skin has improved so much that I can now go out in public with only a smidge of concealer - not a full face of make up. I am so pleased. My favourite is the face and eye roll on which I use twice daily followed by the replenishing face cream. I cleanse and tone twice a day using the organic hemp and rose cleanser and the organic bulgarian rose toner. They remove more dirt than the shop bought chemical in a bottle. When my box of goodies arrived, promptly and well packaged, I decided to throw out all my lotions and potions which had cost me a small fortune - it was the best thing I ever did. I recently bought your sensitive face cream, after having a tester pot first ( which is a great idea, as I find loads of creams irritate my skin, and end up stored at the back of a drawer!) I then bought the large size, it is great I suffer from periorial dermatitis, and this is the only cream I have found I can apply to the flared up area. It moisturises all day, and I can even mix some natural mineral foundation powder with it to make a great foundation. Thank you very much for your prompt despatch of my goods. The Sensitive Unscented Face Cream is extremely soothing; my face has stopped feeling sore & itchy; my eyelids are no longer dry & flaky. The cream feels very healing, cooling & absolutely wonderful on my skin! The Unscented Hand & Body Lotion is rich but not greasy & the moisturising effect lasts a long time. The cream glides on beautifully leaving my skin feeling as smooth as velvet. I will give your lip balm a try in a few weeks, along with the unscented soap. I have tried other makes of unscented products, but yours, in comparison, seem to be much richer and full of goodness! Another review:- I started the African Black Unscented Liquid Soap this morning and was immediately delighted with the results. It left my skin feeling very soothed and calmed, with no drying after effect. It instantly calmed an inflamed and sore area of skin and many hours later, it still feels calmed and settled. The ORGANIC CALENDULA & ALOE AFTER-SHAVE BALM is great balm. For all you other men (and women) out there considering this product I can only recommend it. The balm is very rich and a little goes a long way. It reduces any irritation very well. For comparison, its much thicker than say Proraso balm and takes just a while longer to be fully absorbed. There is a very faint scent to it but nothing that would interfere with a cologne (for those that want to wear one). All in all I would recommend it. Without your products I don't know what I would have done as total dismay had set in after trying everything on the market, even products i really could not afford. "Since becomming a lady of a certain age" when everything changes I found I have developed a little eczema along with reactions to perfumed shower gels, also having to purchase different products for personal hygiene all of which did not help my problem, since finding your black african shower gel a couple of years ago i've not looked back and the bonus is that it does not cost the earth, thankyou Rossi and the team, best wishes for the future...Margaret, North Yorkshire

I just wanted to tell you how much I love your tanning cream. It's the best I've ever used. Not only do I get a golden color "overnight"....there's no tanning lotion smell. I'm very fair skinned and most products don't work at all for me....but your's does and the color is very natural. Can I just say that for years I have had problems with skin care products (I'm now 44) and I have just about tried every facial cream on the market. Up until now, I've been fed up trying to find products that are free from the "nasties" such as SLS, parabens etc. Since finding out about such vicious chemicals, I certainly don't want them on mine or my son's skin. He has occasional flare ups of excema, so I don't want that to worsen. I found your website and am SO glad I did! I tried the wonderful ylang ylang & orange shower gel and also a bar of your marvellous handmade soap for my elderly mother. Brilliant products, and extremely well packaged products and very speedy delivery! I have now placed another order for the baby wash now, as that sounds marvellous. So many other Companies (but not yours, thank goodness!) seem to just "get on the bandwagon" of selling so-called "natural" products, but then when you read the list of ingredients, you get a fright. Plus these other Companies seem to think that customers will pay astronomical prices for these products, which we can't all afford to do. Just to say, how very impreseed i am with the jojoba Shampoo & conditioner, after blow drying my hair felt silkier & softer than it has done in ages. I wasnt expecting a result after just one wash! ...I don't think I ever told you what I thought about your wonderfully bottom dream cream (if I have, sorry for repeating myself). It is truly amazing. 14 months ago I had my second baby and the poor thing had the nastiest rash I had ever seen. The GP prescribed castor oil and various other ointments to no avail. It only took about 2 or 3 days for your bottom dream cream to completely heal the rash. Truly amazing...Marielle, London

I just thought I'd give you some feedback on your virgin coconut oil. I think I'm on my third or fourth jar now. Previously no matter how much hard-earned cash I spent on top brand name "skin care products", I still had troubles with the skin on my face....big bumpy spots, little spots, red skin (sorry to be graphic!). People kept saying its my diet, must be stress etc. etc. But almost from the day I started using the virgin coconut oil, I've hardly had a single tiny blemish and my skin is even toned and really soft. Just wanted to say that your products are wonderful! I just got the lip balm and lip gloss to try and have fallen in love already. The lip balm has made my really sore chapped lips smooth without leaving any residue and the lip gloss! Wow. I rarely use lipgloss because I cant stand the thick gooey feeling they leave. This one feels fantastic and is moisturizing too. The colour is lovely (though its taking me a while to get used to seeing any colour on my lips I have avoided gloss so long!) i'm just writing to say thank you for creating such amazing products. i suffer from acne outbreaks now and again, but when they happen they're bad and leave my skin scarred and horrible. ive been using your balancing face cream for probably only a week and my skin has improved so much i cant believe it! my skin hasnt looked this smooth and clear in about two years. :) i love your conditioner too, its amazing and my curly hair loves it. i really hope you never stop making these products because they're incredible. thank you so much... I just want to say I absolutely love your Care Jelly. My 2 year old daughter has sufferered with eczema since birth, and although she was prescribed creams by the doctor I wanted to try something natural. The Care Jelly started working striaght away and cleared up the dry itchy patches on her belly and the back of her legs within a couple of days. I also use it on her bum when she gets nappy rash (usually only when she's cutting teeth), and recently with all the cold weather we've had I've used it on her cheeks and nose which are exposed to the elements when we're out and about. I also use it on my hands when they get dry and cracked, and it works a treat. It really is a great all-rounder and have just put in an order for another pot. After reading some of the other testimonials I may have to try some of the other skin care products as well, so expect another order shortly! Handmade Naturals you are lifesavers! I tried the trial size Balancing Face Cream and will be purchasing the normal sized one. I also recently purchased the Moisturising Face Wash whcih is excellent. No tightness, noleft over makeup just brilliant. I am of afro-caribbean heritage and find my skin dries out very quickly, especially in winter and after years of using Body Shop stuff I never really got the results I wanted. I came across your site and you have got a customer for life. I love the fact that evertything is natural and there is no mineral oil and synthetic preservatives in your products. I had a mini home spa night tonight, i used Handmade Naturals LAVENDER & GERANIUM in my bath for bubbles. While soaking i used the SEAWEED PEEL OFF FACE MASK. I love love love your Organic Olive, Shea, Aloe and Jojoba Conditioner. I have relaxed/chemically treated hair that tends to be dry and this product gave me luscious, silky soft hair. Just wanted to say got the lipgloss on time for my night out and fell in love with it instantly. Such a lovely colour and texture. As a rule I don't wear lipstick or lipgloss because they feel too sticky and I just end up rubbing them off!! Not so with your lovely lipgloss. Felt silky and soft and nurturing and the tint just enhanced my lips in the right way. I was a bit skeptical about buying a lipgloss without testing the colour first but I couldn't have asked for a better shade. Just a quick question - how long does the lip gloss last? I have had it for ages and wondered if it has a best before date. Still have lots left even tho' it's so gorgeous I use it several times a day. is it a magic container that keeps refilling? Love Cathy

I love all the products I ordered! After using the shampoo and conditioner my scalp isn't itchy anymore. The hair and scalp oil is great too. Even my hairdresser commented on how soft my hair was! I recently tried your hair products and the results are astounding. I use your shampoo in the shower, then towel dry it and then use a little of the Jojoba conditioner and just leave it in. It has changed the condition and manageability of my hair completely. When I just rinse my hair through and don't wash it, I just leave it damp and then leave in some of the hair and scalp oil until it dries. My girlfriend can't stop smelling my hair, she loves it and the girl who cuts it says it's in the best condition she's ever seen it! I think if everyone knew how hazardous SLS and the rest are to your health, there would be an international ban on nearly all cosmetic products except yours. Thank you for creating them. Paul, Leeds

I just wanted to say thank you for despatching my 1st order so promptly, despite me only ordering the day before you went on holiday. I had terrible dermatitis on my face and was desperate to find a truly natural product that wouldn't make it worse. I am now using the African Black soap and the Petitgrain & Myrtle facewash. I also love the shampoo.
One thing that hasn't worked for me though is the conditioner - I have rinsed it really well but have found it to leave a residue. I really just wanted to say keep up the great work on developing your fab range of products! I discovered you whilst looking for sulphate free shower gels/shampoos, and I find that I have to be quite self-controlled not to go nuts and buy up half the site... The hemp oil cleanser is great - really removes the London grime! The shower gels are wonderful, esp the rosemary and geranium shower gel. Thank you for the quick arrival of the products. I don't ever leave feedback for products, but felt that i had to get in touch to say thank you! I suffer from psoriasis on my hands,knees, elbows and scalp and have been searching for a suitable alternatives to petrol based products for the last five years. I have tried most brands at all price points and i had settled on Aubreys as the one that seemed to suit me best. There were a couple of things that made me start to look around again - one was the monthly remortgage i had to take out to buy the families products and two i was becoming increasingly aware of the miles that Aubreys had to travel to get to my door. I have given the psoriasis shampoo and olive & jojoba conditioner a couple of weeks and i can say i am impressed - my hair is quite dry and definately needs the conditioner, but i only need a small ammount. Just to say thank you, turned up this morning! Can't believe how quick you are!! Thanks so much:-) I love your products by the way, I feel so much happier not putting nasty chemicals into my bloodstream, and am very impressed with the trial size care jelly, first time using it and it's lovely and soft and light! I'm 31 and have adult acne, comodonal acne vulgaris rather than the pustular type and have literally tried everything on the market. I haven't noticed an improvement in my acne since using your products but it's genetics and there's not much you can do about that! But it certainly doesn't make my skin any worse, and to be honest i'd rather put natural things on my skin than a whole load of hydrocarbons! I found the balancing moisturiser a little rich for my skin, but after reading your website about how you yourself use the men's aftershave balm I gave that a go, and it's much lighter and better for my acne! I wouldn't have thought to try that so it was very helpful to read what you use. So thank you! I have recommended your products to lots of family and friends already. I have been trying the Herbal SLS Free shampoo now for nearly one month and a half and truly I am in hair heaven. For years my hair has felt lifeless, flat and heavy and from the very first washing my hair started to feel different. Although you do not get much of a lather from this shampoo, it really cleans the hair and when you rinse there seems to be no residue left on the hair unlike other shampoos I have tried. It has been a truly wonderful find and I have sent a bottle to my mother who has also now become a fan. I feel now that my hair is being looked after and using the hair and scalp oil every so often as Rossi suggested really leaves my hair in wonderful condition. I just wanted to put in a comment about the delicious after-shave balm for men. For years I have suffered from sensitive skin all the way through to rosacea and been prescribed all types of creams by the dermatologists . I thought I would test this cream for a month and see how it goes as I have become so skeptical about creams over the years but, this cream is by far the best cream I have put on my face, extremely mild and delicate. I just wanted to let you know that I am seriously impressed with what you are selling. Since coming to France about 8 years ago I have suffered with Rosacea on my face and blepharitis in my eyes. Recently some treatment from the dermatologists has helped with my rosacea but not the blepharitis. I think if I had discovered your site years ago I could have been helped much earlier. I tried the shea butter which is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE and your favourite balancing face cream is wonderful but I love everything I purchased. Both my sister and I have struggled with sensitive skin and allergies and over the last year perioral dermatitis for which we have been prescribed steroid creams (the worst thing for this condition!) and antibiotics by our GP's. Turns out all this was solved by banishing SLS's and other harsh irritating detergents from our daily routines. Thank god we finally found your company, we are both total converts and have just placed a second order after trying, and falling in love with your shower gels (peppermint & aloe), the facewash (African black soap). I used to use Molton Brown, L'occiatane, Philosophy etc and then eventually found my way to GreenPeople. It wasn't until I realised how great natural skincare was for my super oily skin that I then eventually found Handmade Naturals. I came across your site via imperfectlynatural.com - and so glad I did too! I ordered trial sizes of your vasaline replacement and balancing face cream, and a full size bottle of your Myrtle and black African soap foaming facial wash AND a bottle of olive and jojoba conditioner. What can I say except WOW! My skin has been sensitive and prone to break-outs for years. I was noticing dryness and flakiness, but 'heavier' creams gave me spots. Anyway, the balancing cream is a miracle and am on to a full sized pot now. The face wash is wonderful and my hair is smooth and glossy. What a godsend your products are proving to be! I wanted to let you know how I'm getting on with them, so here goes...Your natural foaming face wash does a fantastic job of cleansing my sensitive combination skin. It has a lovely fresh fragrance and a wonderful soft, moussy texture. My skin feels fresh and clean after using it, not tight and uncomfortable at all....Your balancing face cream is a clear winner! I love your lemongrass & lavender hand and body lotion. My hands are prone to severe eczema and are constantly dry. Applying rich creams is not always practical, but the lemongrass & lavender lotion absorbs instantly and smells divine. I can even apply it and immediately do my ironing, without any greasy transfer. Love the antibacterial handwash, and the difference in the condition of my hands since I started using it is plainly beyond belief. My hands used to crack and bleed and no amounts of creams would help to keep them feeling and looking reasonable, at atleast. Its smell is fresh, a hint of lavender, a bit of orange and some manuka, just as the label says. I've just ordered another 4 for all the bathrooms/toilets in our house and I am binning all the Carex soaps I've been wasting cash on for the past god knows how many years.
