This pure shea butter is very rich, you will only need a small amount at a time. It can be a little hard to start off with, but it quickly melts on the skin. Please keep cool & away from direct sunlight, as warm temperature can make this product melt. Best not ordered during spells of hot weather as we are not able to protect during transit.
Our shea butter is organic, unrefined, unbleached & unprocessed, and it is fairly traded with women co-operatives from Ghana, West Africa. Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of the Karite tree using age old harvesting & crafting techniques. Because it is free from any chemical processing, our shea butter retains all its natural goodness, creamy colouring & natural nutty aroma. Virgin shea butter is totally different from the commonly used hard white shea butter, which has unfortunately been refined & processed with chemicals and does not contain the same nutrients!
Ingredients: virgin organic shea butter (butyrospermun parkii)*, calendula oil *(calendula officinalis), golden jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis), vitamin E, chamomile essential oil (matricaria chamomilla)* and nothing else.
