What Is So Good About Virgin Shea Butter?
Our fairly traded virgin shea butter is unrefined, unbleached, completely pure and natural. It is produced by women co-operatives from Togo, West Africa using traditional harvesting & crafting techniques. Because virgin shea butter isn't extracted using chemicals and solvents, it retains all its natural goodness, creamy colouring & natural nutty scent.
Unrefined shea butter is a vitamin packed food for your skin! It simply cannot be compared to the commonly used hard white refined shea butter, which although moisturising does not contain many nutrients for the skin. Unlike other brands, our virgin shea butter is made with 80% pure shea butter, no synthetic fillers, chemical preservatives or water.
How Best To Apply The Shea Butter?
Our virgin shea butter blend is a very rich butter, you will only need a small amount at a time. It can be a little hard to start off with, so just put a small amount in the palm of your hand to melt or rub in the skin as it is, and enjoy the instant soothing & hydration.

...I've totally fallen in love with the pure Shea Butter ... After you said you were thinking of doing a Minty Shea Butter to replace the Foot Cream, I decided to try it on my feet instead. Wow! I've had a fantastic result. My feet had gotten rather neglected and dry because I couldn't reach them in the late stages of pregnancy and now the baby is here I don't have much time to religiously exfoliate. I'd been slapping on all sorts of lotions and creams I've had laying around with no success. My feed ha'd gotten so horrible, I began wearing socks to bed so my husband wouldn't accidentally brush up against them and it was putting me off trying on new shoes the few times I'd gone out shopping. One day of wearing a liberal application of the shea butter under cotton socks has made a HUGE difference. The smell is DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the texture is soooooo smooth, it just glides on the skin and INSTANTLY soothes the itchy rash on my arms! I am so impressed! I did have shea butter before from loccitane, but yours is better because it melts easier, probably because it has got other oils in it as well.
