Pure, Virgin, Unrefined & ORGANIC COCOA BUTTER
Virgin cocoa butter is produced without the use of harsh chemicals and it has not been bleached or deodorised. Because it is virgin & unrefined, it retains all its natural healing qualities and distinct cocoa scent. Cocoa butter is pressed from roasted cocoa beans. It is light to medium yellow in colour. As with all natural produce, there is a variation in colour and smell between batches.
Cocoa butter has been used in highstreet cosmetics for many many years, because of its antioxidant properties & high vitamin E content. Amongst vital vitamins, cocoa butter also contains the polyphenol CMP, which has been found to suppress active oxygen, a factor in cancer, and to inhibit the production of an immuno globulin that exacerbates topical dermatitis. Traditionally used by African women, cocoa butter helps keep the skin healthy, smooth & elastic.
You can use pure organic cocoa butter on its own as a simple but effective massage bar or to create your own natural skin care products. Now supplied in handy size cubes, enough for 1 application for massage or as a bath melt.
