Sometimes refered to as the New Zealand Tea Tree, Manuka oil actually contains a wider range of active compounds and much higher antibiotic activity than the popular Australian Tea Tree. In addition, manuka oil is less irritating to the skin compared to tea tree oil. Aromatherapy researchers have found that manuka oil has strong antibacterial, antifungal, anti-allergenic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Love the handwash, and the difference in the condition of my hands since I started using it is plainly beyond belief. My hands used to crack and bleed and no amounts of creams would help to keep them feeling and looking reasonable, at atleast. Its smell is fresh, a hint of lavender, a bit of orange and some manuka, just as the label says. I've just ordered another 4 for all the bathrooms/toilets in our house and I am binning all the Carex soaps I've been wasting cash on for the past god knows how many years.
