Our fairly traded virgin shea butter is unrefined, unbleached, completely pure and natural. It is produced by women co-operatives from Togo, West Africa using traditional harvesting & crafting techniques. Because virgin shea butter isn't extracted using chemicals and solvents, it retains all its natural goodness, creamy colouring & natural nutty scent.
Unrefined shea butter is a vitamin packed food for your skin! It simply cannot be compared to the commonly used hard white refined shea butter, which although moisturising does not contain many nutrients for the skin. Unlike other brands, this shea butter cream is made with 40% pure shea butter, no synthetic fillers, chemical preservatives or water.
How Best To Apply The Shea Care Jelly?
Our Shea Care Jelly is a very rich cream, you will only need a small amount at a time. It is softer than our virgin shea butter blend, so just take a small amount, apply to your skin and enjoy the instant soothing & hydration.
Please keep cool & away from direct sunlight, as this can make the butter melt.
